This is a suburban neighbourhood with the bulk of it's properties in the entry level/starter home category. A lot of war time bungalows and smaller post-war ranches. The area is well settled and many of the properties have larger lots with smaller homes. The area is part of the 1912 and 1961 annexes and much of the housing is from those eras. The area is bordederd by Huron on the North and Oxford on the south; Adelaide on the west and Highbury on the east.
Notable features of the neighbourhood are St. Peter’s Cemetary and Carling Arena. There a several parks in the area including Carling Park, Lord Elgin Park, Smith Park, Northeast London Park, Sevilla Park, Huron Heights Park, Flanders Park, Krupp Park, and Genevive Park.
